FER/Thermal – A finite element program for modelling of heat transfer with
moving heat flux
The
program FER/Thermal is
devoted to the modelling of the preheating process during thermal spray. The
mathematical formulation is based on the first law of thermodynamics. Three
types of boundary conditions are considered:
- Specified temperatures on surface S1 : T = T`,
- Specified heat flux on surface S2 (including the static and moving heat flux),
{q}{n} = q(t)`,
- Specified convection on surface S3 : q{n} = -h(Tb-Ts).
